New skin care routine and reviews Friday, January 9, 2015 | 0 Diamond[s] Hello my darlings!
I am back! Over the summer I have been testing out some new skincare products to give you my reviews and opinions on what I tested.
This new skin regime began over the course of two month to ensure if it really works or not. (Note: this was tested on my skin so it might not work for you. It has worked for me and I am sticking to it. All brands that I've used here are in no way any paid ads. I am merely letting you know how my routine goes and all products I bought with my own hard earn money! )
A little background on my skin: extremely sensitive to all kinds of products, easily dry if I do not drink enough water, gets red easily and I could get rashes if I come in contact with certain ingredients that I am allergic to. I am allergic to a lot of drugstore cosmetics and many of M.A.C cosmetics.
This routine is extremely amazing on your skin during winter as I have tested them and it is Dolly Approved for amazing soft, smooth and lovely skin. Now, enough chats and let's start! Princess Step 1 Routine Make sure you Cleanse Your Face. Do this 1-2 a day depending on your skin type. I love the Estee Lauder Cleansers. I alternate between the Nutritious collection or the perfectly clean cleanser. They are both amazing although I do use the Nutritious Radiant Cleanser more as I love the smell. After cleansing, I tone my face with Lancome's comfort toner. It's soft, moisturizing content makes my skin glow and balance my p.H :) You will love the smell as it's so rosy and it's PINK!!!  Comfort Toner Next, I want my skin to maintain its youth so I bought the SK II Facial treatment essence. If you do not already know, this product made SK II the company it is today. It is vasically the biggest revolutionary skincare in all of beauty history as it contains Pitera, which is a yeast that enhances the skin's renewal process. Let me explain, it is not a toner nor some pore closer. It is just an ESSENCE that maintain youth. I think it smells a little off but it does not bother me as I know it works.  SK II Treatment Essence After using the essence, I move on to the Night Repair Serum by Estee Lauder. I find that this serum truly is the best serum ever. My skin is glorious due to this liquid serum. I must warn you, give your skin a minute or two to dry after the SK II essence and then apply the night serum to let the product sink in.  Night Repair Serum If you wish to skip the SK II product, that is fine as long as you have the Serum. It is the core of this skin routine. Use the Serum every night. If you're like me, I use it day and night because I want faster results. I have spoken to some Estee Lauder representatives and they told me that it is fine to use it in the morning although it is designed for night so that your skin can get its rest and work with the serum. Lastly, MOISTURIZE! I cannot tell you how much you need to moisturize. Every girl needs to do this whether you come home late from the club, just do it! I do not care how lazy and groggy I feel after coming home late from work, moisturize! My skin thanks me for it!! Here, I use Estee Lauder Nutritious Moisture Cream or Estee Lauder Hydrationist.  Nutritious Moisturizer  Hydrationist I know that I use tones of Estee Lauder skin care but they honestly work. I have tried others but I feel that the brand, value and the effectiveness of the products really do work. Lastly, if you want to take care of your eyes, this is what I use.  Estee Lauder Eye Serum I am still hunting for a more better eye cream as I think there might be better eye serums out there.  Opal Sonic In my opinion, the Opal Sonic is great if you use is religiously as I do think it might work better than using your fingertips. However, if you do not want to spend the money, your ring finger works just fine! :) Now, stay in in your Princess Pillow and beatify yourself. Let me know how this routine works for you! You may need to change the products according to your skin type but I feel that it's the best thing I have ever done for myself! I returned two days later to buy a pair of earrings that I saw online. I have never seen anything like it! And when I was in store, they had other things on sale that were not available on their online store.
Sadly, when I got home, I noticed the earrings was missing a big crystal.
 
The new socialite bracelet that I bought was also a dud. The claps kept falling out and although it did not affect the bracelet much (it's actually held together by a magnet) I was disappointed as the claps was suppose to secure it and was just disappointed and my first ever experience of shopping with the store. Since it retails for a very high price ($88), I expected high quality.Also, I felt that one of the sales associate was such a snob... rolling his eyes all the time. Was it so wrong in buying a sale item? Too bad. Not my problem.
This was the only piece that was not bad. It originally costs $98 but the sales associate marked it wrong so I got it for $29 (after 50% off! ). It's pretty flimsy and I am sure that I can get similar pieces at other stores such as Movida or Kendra Scott but I did not want to pass up this beautiful green with its lovely streaks. ( The price also convinced me to buy as well :P )
 
Sadly, I will have to return to the store due to the other two defective items. Such a hassle...

Lovely Dresses! This H&M jersey dress is so lovely!  AND IT'S ONLY $14.95!!! STEAL!!!! CLICK CLICK! get it!!!!!!  This white one reminds me a little of Herve Leger only cause of it's ribbed texture. I am so tempted to get it but I am still on the hunt. So far, this is my choice and if I do not see any new items this week, I will get it! Shop it here! Sorry, exams are kicking my butt π! Today's little tip is to remind you that you are beautiful but your skin needs to keep up with the harsh environment you are in!First, always make sure you have a clean face! Wash with a real good cleanser, scrub twice a week with a good facial scrub product or use your Clarisonic if you have one! πΏπ¦ after that, if you have a serum, use it! Don't waste it! Lastly, moisturize! Never go a day without it! Why? Your skin needs to maintain it's nutrients and moisture! Don't forget to put some on your neck and nose! And before you go to sleep, drink 1 glass of water! When you wake up, drink two! Treat these steps as your key to the fountain of youth! 
Always love your skin by giving it plenty of love and keeping it hydrated!

Belk! We are so happy to have you! Friday, April 11, 2014 | 1 Diamond[s]
Happy Friday everyone!First of all, I need to thank my beautiful friend, Alex Small! Click her name to check her page out! :-) (Alex also gets the special seat of the first picture post! )  Thanks to her, I got to experience what fashion bloggers have been hiding from me! A wonderful time meeting fabulous fashionistas, first look at new styles, experience with different colours, and of course, tasting delicious gourmet snacks! One must never forget the snacks! (Be warned, this post is picture heavy!!!)  At the grand opening of Belk ( located in Dallas' very own Galleria mall), actress Hayden Panettiere was there to give a small welcome comments and all that for the fashion show! I must admit, I imagined her a little taller ( I knew she was short though!) but she was still gorgeous! I love her hair! If you love her dress, Belk has got you covered! Belk should really sponsor me ;-) I would talk about them to everyone. And I mean EVERYONE!!! Back to my experience at the new shopping department, I found out first hand that Belk had an extremely beautiful positioning compared to its precedent department that was there before. Belk had a new European feel to it as they carefully positioned their counters and shelves so well. ( If you ever been to London's departmental stores, you would understand) You should really check it out, Dolls! You will love it! What is so great about Belk is that they have their very own mini Kate Spade store! Who wouldn't adore that?! I didn't take a picture of the store because I was too mesmerize by the bags there! To-die-for! But anyways, the fashion show was awesome. First, let's introduce the models! I shall call them cutie no.1 and cutie no. 2 :-)   I think he knew I was aiming for him! ;-)   Something perfectly cute for Spring!  I love the mint color they chose for the show! Very vibrant!   I personally think that these gals stole the show! They were pretty wild!  This might be my next dress! I have been looking for something as sparkly as this!  Belk thought of everything! From delicate and feminine, to edgy-city-jet setter, to lovely date nights!    Casual love!  Beach babe!       Barbie would love this outfit!   Woooooo!!! Dallas Spirit!!!! Did I mention, we got the chance to have our own personal photo session with them??? Love it! My boyfriend got totally jealous! ( men....)          Something for a wedding? :-)        Red carpet glamour!  I swear, the blue looks good one everyone! It's hard not to!!    These two handsome men got a chance to take a picture with us!
